ATS members awarded with the “Green Key” certificate

The Blue Flag of Europe Association (ABAE) distinguished on Wednesday, July 8, at the Olga Cadaval Cultural Center in Sintra, 153 tourist units with the Green Key 2020 award.

The Green Key Program promotes sustainable tourism, through the recognition of tourist establishments, local accommodations, camping sites and restaurants that implement good environmental and social practices, that value environmental management in their establishments and that promote environmental education for sustainability.

One of the goals of ATS is to contribute to the adoption of good practices in various areas, aiming at the recognition of Sintra as a top quality destination and for this reason, we are pleased to congratulate the 11 establishments in Sintra that were awarded with the “Green Key” certificate,  which in turn are all ATS members.

The awarded accommodations in Sintra were:

• Casa do Valle – 4th edition
• Casa da Capela – Sintra Houses by Lendas de Sintra – 3rd edition
• José Ricardo House (reentry)
• Water Lines | Yellow (new)
• Water Lines | Blue (new)
• Water Lines | Red (new)
• Quinta Colina Flora (new)
• Sintra Bliss Hotel (new)
• Sintra Boutique Hotel (new)
• Villa Maria – Sintra Houses by Lendas de Sintra – 3rd edition
