Concentration Zones and Support to Population – Covid-19

These are times of exception that we live in. There was nothing to predict a catastrophe of this size and cruelty: a microscopic being, but incredibly powerful, confronted us with our smallness.

At this unusual moment, the Sintra Tourism Association (ATS) collaborates again with the Municipality of Sintra on behalf of our Municipality and its people.

We have come to request the collaboration of all Tourism Agents in the raising of material (sheets, towels, PPE’s and others), necessary to provide the infrastructure created by:

• Concentration Areas and Support for the Population
• CMS (Municipality of Sintra) Resource Bank (to fill requests that are received daily)

In the units identified above there are already single beds with dimensions 1.90 x 0.80m, but much more is needed to be able to adequately support the population referred to with COVID-19.
